The Mantis laser academy allows you to fire your own gun or a laser gun at a target or multiple targets while your phone tracks your shots and your shot times. it scores you on your accuracy and timing as you are shooting different drills. The app will keep track of your scores, shot times and it will keep a history of them, so you can compare your scores with previous scores to track your progress.
The laser academy comes with free app access, a laser cartridge to put into your own firearm (caliber of your choice), a tripod for your phone to set in so it can keep track of your hits, a mini target set for traveling, and a rod for pushing the laser cartridge out of your pistol when you are done.
The MantisX is how I got the most accuracy on the range. This small package is my favorite Mantis product, as it is my personal marksmanship instructor. This little box attaches to any picatinny rail on a pistol, rifle, shotgun, bow, crossbow. You don’t even need a target for this system. I put a post-it on the wall and dryfire at the post-it. This will tell you exactly what you are doing wrong while you are pulling the trigger to move your muzzle off of the bullseye while firing. It will also tell you how to fix it. There is no other system that compares to the MantisX on the market. Comes with the MantisX and a free code to get full access on the app. Comes with many challenges including multiple skill level accomplishments that earn you free patches they will send you in the mail when you complete certain challenges. The app also comes with a different challenge every day designed to challenge your abilities, and you can compare your scores to everyone else out there that uses this system. You can use this device during dryfire and during live fire.
The Mantis TitanX is Mantis’ newest creation. This laser pistol comes with the MantisX10 built right into the gun, and it is about the same price as the MantisX10. It comes with 2 weighted magazines to allow for practicing magazine changes. This pistol can be ordered to mimic multiple pistols. Right now there are a few different pistol models that this pistol can be purchased as. This allows for the same training provided by the MantisX, but it is a semi automatic pistol, so you don’t need to rack the slide each time between shots. This is a very easy pistol to use, and you can get the pistol to fit holsters that you probably already have lying around. This pistol also works with the Mantis laser academy. It allows you to mount a red dot on the top, and since you don’t need to attach the MantisX to the bottom rail, you can throw a light on the gun if you wish.
This system is the Mantis Blackbeard. This is a dryfire system for your AR platform. The red bolt, carrier and charge handle has a build in laser, so you can practice clearing areas with targets set up throughout the area, or whatever works for you. This system is semi automatic thanks to the battery pack in the red magazine. Your trigger will reset automatically after every laser shot. You can use this with the MantisX or the Mantis laser academy for more fun, games and training.
